The second part of our trip was in the beautiful country of Greece. Mona Organized this part of the trip, and she picked Greece for the warm climate, rich culture and because she really wanted to spend the end of our trip on one of the many beautiful islands. We started our visit of Greece in Patras (after a 19 hour ferry ride from Bari to Patras). We only spent a few hours in Patras, mostly waiting for the bus to Olympia. We travelled through Greece mainly by bus until we arrived in Athens. Once in Athens we got a little lazy and went on a few organized trips. Then, We spent the last 4 days of our trip on Perissa beach (Santorini). The weather was mostly cloudy during our two weeks in Greece. But it ended up being an adventurous and relaxing trip at the same time.
